Merry Christmas!

Today will be my first full day back at work. I think I will be alright. Tired when I get done but alright.

My father who chose not to speak to me anymore contacted me through email last night. I have made a choice to go no contact permanently. I am no longer interested in his hurtful and hateful ways. He's not interested in doing anything except pretending the crap didn't happen & bringing things up from the past to make me feel stupid so I've decided I'm done with it. Life is more peaceful without him being mean to me. The only reason he's reaching out is because he's lonely. Not because he loves me or wants to talk to me. And I don't wish to be used and abused anymore.

This coming year make choices that are best for you and your well being no matter what someone else wants. You have the right to your own peace of mind and life balance. You don't have to stand there and take abuse anymore.
