Welcome to the new year. I totally forgot to post anything. I was working and I was totally exhausted so I didn't get around to getting on here. I hope everyone is getting off to a good start this year.
Mine is meh...
I finally made it back to work full time after my bout with pneumonia. Groceries where I am are no longer being taxed but prices are sky high on everything. Survival is getting iffy.
I have decided to put a boundary on people who are hateful this year. If they can't be nice they are not allowed to participate in my joy. They are not allowed to interfere with my peace.
I applied for financial assistance for my hospital bills and that is coming through and most helpful.
Our forecast for the weekend is not looking good. Lots of ice and snow. Hopefully the power will stay on. *Fingers crossed* If it does I might play some Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after I grind on my Animal Crossing New Horizons. Gotta save my phone battery for emergencies. Well, as long as Verizon doesn't go down. 🤣
I ordered groceries which will hopefully make it in one piece. 🙄
Otherwise it will be a long weekend if the power goes out. Won't have much to eat.
If we still have power Sunday I have football to watch and church services. I hate to miss church. Since God is all powerful then he can keep the power on for church right? 😁
